Our Impact

In 2019, we joined forces with Café Momentum over our shared love and dedication to helping the Dallas community, creating a vehicle for change in our city.

Ruthie’s Fueled by Café Momentum provides externship opportunities for individuals leaving the Café Momentum program. As a part of their training, Fellows will work on the Ruthie’s food truck and have the opportunity to become change agents in their own communities through Ruthie’s Snacks of Kindness.

We hope our model will inspire others to think of ways they can partner with a nonprofit that touches their hearts.

Meet Our Fellows

Spreading Cheesy Goodness

Random Act of Kindness: A selfless act performed by a person or people wishing to either help or cheer up another person or group. With that thought in mind, we have created our own version of that mission called Ruthie’s Snacks of Kindness (RSK). The goal is simple: Ruthie’s wants to put a smile on people’s faces and joy in their hearts by combining delectable comfort food with a community purpose.

Ruthie’s selects non-profits to highlight on our food trucks, social media and website to bring awareness to the community about the organization and their current needs to continue helping others.

Ruthie’s collects financial donations as well as tangible needs for the organizations receiving an RSK while providing them with a warm grilled cheese meal.

The community can also sponsor a nonprofit that is close to their heart. If you would like to spread kindness and underwrite a Ruthie’s Snack of Kindness contact us at info@ruthiesrollingcafe.com.

Donate a Meal to a Frontline Worker

100% of your donation will go towards a free meal for local hospital and medical workers, first responders, homeless shelters, senior centers, non-profits, and more to help feed doctors, nurses and many other frontline workers during the COVID-19 crisis.

Purchase a Comfort Food Care Package (CFCP)

The Comfort Food Care Package (CFCP) program provides meals for at-risk youth and families in communities across Texas as the state responds to COVID-19. Each care package contains enough food to feed a family of 5 to 6 and will be delivered to recipients’ homes.
